Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classic Boleros from the past as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is passionate about the operas and tangos and all dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play music from an early age, along with her mother. The formal training in singing when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca in The School of Sacred Music. Her early professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is involved with many local projects in both teaching and performer, because of her passion for music and arts. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to bring to others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations to preserve the traditions.
